What grows on a farm? We believe kids do. Spend the week with us exploring the Sauvie Island Organics farm and surrounding natural area of Howell Territorial Park. We’ll learn about pollination, soils, plants, and wildlife and still have time to harvest produce from our Grow Lunch Garden to turn into tasty snacks.
Spend a week exploring San Juan Island’s variety of animal habitats and ecosystems. We’ll search out shorebirds and raptors, sea and land mammals, native animals, and the introduced red foxes and English rabbits. We’ll camp all week at San Juan Island National Historical Park.
Join the OMSI Thinkineers, the first tier of the Teen Science Alliance, to learn about and practice science, technology, art and engineering. Teens will work in small groups to resolve challenges and share these findings with OMSI visitors. Applications due May 1st.
